Dr. Russell's gynecology practice offers a full range of options for the health care of women of all ages, including adolescent through post-menopausal care. Full surgical services are offered including robotically assisted hysterectomy, robotic myomectomy and robotic sacrocolpopexy. Dr. Russell has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery which includes the da Vinci® Surgical System. Additional services offered on site at Dr. Russell's site included 3D - 4D ultrasound.
In obstetrics, Dr. Russell welcomes women who desire natural childbirth with minimal interventions, as well as those with complicated pregnancies. Patient concerns and expectations, including pain control and epidural anesthesia for delivery are fully explored at obstetrical visits. Dr. Russell has consistently achieved low rates of Cesarean section.
Beyond safe deliveries of healthy babies, Dr. Russell's goals in obstetrics include:
