Dr. Russell obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals, Inc., affliated with Michigan State University. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Russell is an active staff member at both Covenant Healthcare and St. Mary's Hospital.

Darcy Schlund graduated from Saginaw Valley State University having earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She specializes in women's health promotion and disease prevention. Her interest in the issues of menopause led her to achieve certification as a Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society.

During your visit with Darcy, she will listen, provide information, and guide you in your health care decisions. Topics of special interest to Darcy are family planning, obstetrics, menopause and osteoporosis. Darcy stresses prevention of illness through nutrition, weight loss and fitness, and smoking cessation. Darcy’s practice ideals are based on integrity, sensitivity and respect for women of all ages, reflecting those of Dr. Russell’s practice.

Heather Karenbauer earned her dual Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. As the newest member of Dr. Russell's organization, Heather brings an enthusiastic personality and her extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology to provide our patients with the comprehensive care they deserve.

Besides well-woman exams, family planning and obstetrics, Heather has expanded her skills to include the treatment and management of abnormal pap results. She has completed her education and training with the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and expects to take the certification exam this fall. Serving patients of all ages under the direct supervision of Dr. Russell, Heather is a welcome addition to our office and for our patients.

Pat received her degree in radiological technology from Ferris State University, and is registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. She has over twenty-three years of experience in obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound, and has continued to update her skills. Pat appreciates being able to offer personalized ultrasound service to all Dr.Russell's patients, and especially enjoys sharing the excitement of obstetrical ultrasound imaging with OB patients.
